The research in history of aesthetics is predominantly focused on medieval, Renaissance, and modern aesthetics, as well as on contemporary phenomenological approaches. The main interest here is the question: what does it mean to think about beauty and art philosophically? What is the specific nuance that philosophy brings to these considerations?

Language, Conceptuality, Art

The research in Heidegger's philosophy is equally focused on his early and later writings, but thematically focused on questions of language, language of philosophy, and philosophy of art. Methodologically, the interpretative approach is minute text analysis directed on revealing the inner workings and movements of Heidegger's concepts and writing strategies, with particular stress on phenomenological and hermeneutical method.

The research in history of philosophy is mostly focused on eastern and western medieval philosophy, as well as on Renaissance and modern philosophy. The approach is orientated on the fundamental philosophical concepts, their development, functions and intersections. Of special interest is the issue of methodology behind the philosophical concepts and language.

Ontology of the Artwork Creation

The research in the field of ontology of art is focused on the ontology of the artwork production, centering around the concept of artwork's creative principle (logos). These fundamental investigations are a product of collaboration with Srđan Šarović.

Published books concern some of the distinctive topics defining the directions of philosophy endeavors: Heidegger's philosophy of art, Heidegger's philosophy of language, and the problem of founding aesthetics as a philosophical discipline (Baumgarten).
